Stone Golf Centre

Another super impressive installation completed by the team here at Active Golf Projects and a great addition for Stone Golf Centre. The installation of a 300m2 floodlit putting green is a significant enhancement to the facility. The availability of a consistent and fast-paced surface throughout the year, regardless of the weather, will undoubtedly be appreciated by golfers at the club.

Adventure Golf Update at Heatherton World of Activities

18-hole adventure golf course with a Roman theme

Active Golf Projects Ltd has done an impressive job designing and constructing an 18-hole adventure golf course with a Roman theme in Deal, Walmer.

The inclusion of props like the Duke of Wellington, Walmer Castle, and others has added authenticity and visual appeal to the course. The moveable raft feature, where players pull themselves along over water, sounds like a unique and engaging experience.

Fusion Trampoline Park

Our most recent installation has just been completed in Carlisle, located at Fusion Trampoline Park.
The Adventure Golf Course is now open to the public in time for the Easter Holidays.

Fusion Trampoline Park chose Active Golf Projects to design and build this amazing dino mini golf course in the heart of Carlisle. It is located at their trampoline park outside, so much fun for all ages.

Ferneley’s dairy farm adventure golf course

In the summer of 2021, we built Ferneley’s dairy farm adventure golf course a 9-hole farmyard theme adventure golf. With each hole being unique and filled with spectacular farm props that are enjoyable for all age groups.

Some of the props include a real vintage tractor, milk cart, chicken hut, pig troughs and wooden carts. With it being based on a farm authenticity was our main goal with the course overlooking picturesque views & fields of cows and sheep.

New Year, New Green

Active golf projects first installation of the year consisted of replacing a DIY golf green for one of our short game greens.
Our customer contacted us towards the end of last year explaining to us that his Son is now looking for something to really sharpen up his short game at home and that the current surface wasn’t up to the job.

Home practice facility for Macclesfield customer

We have been busy since the recent restrictions have allowed us to get back to work safely. 

We were asked to install a 30m2 outdoor golf green in their garden, practice net, timber sleeper retaining wall and a lawn area that can be used for chipping along with general use. 

The project started by excavating the area and preparing the trenches for the sleeper surround wall. The sleepers were all fixed in concrete prior to the 30 tonne of aggregate being brought in ready to be shaped and compacted. 

The putting surface was installed first which is cut to shape ready for the fringe grass to be cut and glued to. Once all the surface is cut ready, we apply sand dressing to our surface which is mechanically brushed into the pile of the grass and is then ready for use. 

This was a great project to have done and one that our customer was extremely pleased with having had a complete garden makeover he can no enjoy his garden all year round. 

Home Putting Green Stoke

European golf recently completed a 30m2 outdoor putting green on the outskirts of Stoke.

The green was constructed in two days and it wasn’t a straight forward project as the access was challenging.
