If you’re a Golf Club, Sports or Leisure Owner, or are in an education based environment, then one of our bespoke Teaching Academies may be the perfect option for your venue. Academies vary massively in size and are completely relevant to the initial investment in the venue, however, we will work with you closely to ensure that we maximise your area as much as possible regardless of size, whilst still delivering a high-end facility that represents the class expected of a Active Golf projects install. Normally, we cover three different areas to focus specifically on three skills; Putting, Driving and Chipping.
Using state of the art putting surfaces, base materials and install procedures, we will design and create a putting area tailored to the size of your academy. We can install multiple hole pin positions to cater for a large amount of users and styles of putting, contours to create a varied putt, and can also include hazards including a Tour Fringe, Bunker and Chipping Station. The putting surfaces are designed to be suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and to replicate a PGA Tour Green.
The driving element of a golfers game is incredibly important, and it can be developed through a number of practice techniques and facilities. We’re able to provide Innovative Tee Line Turf, Robust Driving Cages, Portable Tee-Mats, Target Greens and more, to help accommodate to the needs of both Professional and Amateur golfers in a professional yet comfortable environment. When working with Active Golf Projects you will benefit from a dedicated Account Manager and full design service.
The final string to the perfect academy bow is the Chipping Facility to help players practice their Chipping onto an all natural putting or target green. We can produce chipping areas to help with a number of chipping angles and scenarios, by using different base contours and turf types.
